OSI PJ Secures X-37B Space Mission

The Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI) continues to make strides in recognizing its members and securing national interests. Recently, OSI personnel in Paris and throughout the United States have been celebrated for their accomplishments.

In Paris, OSI honored trailblazing individuals during a Women's History Month luncheon. The event recognized the contributions of women in the field of law enforcement and their unwavering dedication to serving the Air Force and the nation.

Meanwhile, OSI PJ conducted a two-week course on French language and culture. This training provided invaluable knowledge and skills to personnel preparing for assignments in France, enhancing their ability to effectively communicate and interact in French-speaking environments.

OSI PJ also played a critical role in securing the recent X-37B space mission, a highly classified, reusable spacecraft that has garnered significant attention from around the globe. OSI's efforts ensured the mission's success, contributing to the development of cutting-edge technology and the advancement of space exploration.

OSI, with its headquarters in Quantico, Virginia, maintains seven field investigations regions aligned with Air Force major commands. Region 1 encompasses Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Special Operations Command, and Air Force Reserve Command. Region 2 includes Air Combat Command, and Region 3 comprises Air Mobility.

To join OSI, applicants must be enlisted in the Air Force. Personnel from other branches of service who enter the Air Force with qualifying ranks (senior airman through technical sergeant) must serve in another Air Force career field for a specific period before applying to OSI.
