The shots rang out at 6:10 p.m., as Trump was addressing a crowd of supporters at the Butler County Fairgrounds. Witnesses said they heard multiple gunshots and saw Trump fall to the ground.
Trump was rushed to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition. The gunman has been apprehended and is in police custody.
